State-Shaped Military Going Away Gift – Custom Wall Decor

This state-shaped military wall plaque is a distinctive piece of wall decor designed for going-away gifts, promotions, retirements, and military recognition. Each sign measures 16 inches on the longest side and is crafted to stand out as an artistic alternative to traditional plaques, making it ideal for display in homes, offices, or command spaces.

Customers may select any U.S. state, with each state featuring a pre-created design layout developed to best fit the shape and visual balance of that state. While these designs are pre-built for quality and consistency, custom design requests are welcome. Every plaque includes a silver or gold metal name plate customized with the information you choose, such as rank, name, unit, dates, locations, or other service details. Space is limited by each state’s shape and design, so there may be practical limits to how much information can fit cleanly on the name plate.

Depending on the state shape, up to three or four emblems or badges can be added. If adjustments are needed to maintain clarity or balance, you will be contacted before production begins. Emblem files should be uploaded at checkout or emailed to madebysarge@gmail.com within three days of ordering. Preferred files are original vector files (.SVG) used to create the emblem. High-resolution PNG files are also acceptable if vector files are unavailable. If you are requesting a badge but do not have the file, simply list the badge in your order notes. Emblem clarity can vary depending on design complexity and file quality, and some designs may appear cleaner than others.

A digital preview of your design will be provided within 48 hours of ordering. If you have not received a preview within that timeframe, email madebysarge@gmail.com Production timelines depend on timely approval. Delays in preview approval will delay production, and if the preview is not approved within four days of being sent, the design will move forward as shown to avoid extended delays.

For added personalization, the service member’s name may be included in white lettering along the top border, limited to rank and last name only, depending on the selected design.

Each sign is made from high-quality veneered birch and maple, precision laser-cut, assembled, and hand-painted for a clean, professional finish. The finished piece is lightweight and can be hung using adhesive mounting solutions such as Command™ strips. Be sure to use enough strips to properly support the sign on the wall.
